（中央社記者廖漢原華盛頓15日專電）美國學者任雪麗指出，民進黨總統參選人蔡英文訪美情勢與上次不相同，美方也在思考兩岸關係發展，台灣的總統與立委選舉加溫，仍有許多值得觀察。
華府智庫外交政策研究所（FPRI）資深研究員任雪麗（Shelley Rigger）在研究所網站發表專文指出，蔡英文再度訪美情勢與上次不相同，目前她的民調領先所有可能對手。
任雪麗表示，蔡英文當年訪美拒絕北京的兩岸關係構想，並遭美國官員批評；這次她的底線雖與2012年不同，但還是沒有說出中方想聽到的字眼，然而華府未有反彈聲浪，兩次出訪的落差反應出，台灣本身與美中關係過去4年的重大變化。
蔡英文在華府智庫的演說，任雪麗認為，她呼應選戰議題，大篇幅著墨在經濟，有效並總結回應局勢發展帶來的政治機會。
至於「九二共識」，任雪麗指出，蔡英文一如上次拒絕為其背書，但華府這次反應相當不同。蔡英文提到「中華民國現行憲政體制」，可能意指傾向憲法認定的意涵，並先行處理外界認為她可能會大幅改變政策的關切。
任雪麗寫到，蔡英文今年的立場僅小幅接納美中雙方的關切，並明顯感受到台灣內部對她需要接納九二共識的壓力不大；沒有太多證據顯示美方在此議題上向她施壓，演說之後，也未見反彈，蔡英文還獲邀進入政府機構。
